Rape Recovery Video ProgramRape Recovery DVD Video Program
“I know that more time and more pleasure in life are two of the things you really try to help your clients with in this video but I learned so much more!  After four years in therapy, I had serious doubts that I’d ever be happy again – until I finished your recovery video.  I learned more in that 2½ hours than in many, many therapy hours – practical information that I use.You know, the price of your recovery video program was less than a pair of my kid’s sneakers.”  Julianne D.

“Your videos are so engaging and so personal – I felt like you were talking just to me; almost as if I were with a friend, just sharing. Only you’re  a friend who has succeeded in doing what I need to do to be happy.”  “Thank you; I won’t forget the times we “shared” or what I learned in this video.  You’ve saved my life!” Kerri M.

The Truth About Rape BookThe Truth About Rape Book
Incredibly well written, sensitive and informative; your book is fantastic.
Aphrodite Matsakis, Ph.D.,
Clinical Psychologist

My group had a very emotional and growth promoting process as I shared with them your book.  We launched into an incredible dialogue about all of the feelings and thoughts and energy that does not get discussed in this culture about rape.
Sheila Kreifels, LCSW

Thank you Teresa for your insight, sensitivity and certainty your honesty. This book is a tool for everyone, victim, survivor, family and friends can all benefit from the insight and information provided. This book not only acknowledges the tremendous emotional and physical impact rape has on a woman but it reminds us of our capacities to endure and rise above. Peace can be obtained!
Samantha S., Sexual Assault Survivor & Victim Advocate

I am in awe of how you have recovered and that you're helping others; I will use your book in the work I'm doing with my therapist. Thank you; it is what I need to heal and I'm sure I speak for others as well.  Sheila Brook, Victim Advocate

Your frankness is almost overwhelming yet so necessary.  People need to understand what happens when a woman is raped and you’ve so beautifully related the feelings.  Your words made me feel as if I was on that mattress with you … in your bathroom … on the train.  Your words are mesmerizing.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Sharon Fitzpatrick

Hours of Torture, Years of Silence BookHours of Torture, Years of Silence Book
In Hours of Torture, Years of Silence, Teresa provides the precious gift of the unbearable truth of her experience. Her story evokes compassion and a yearning for justice and rings with authenticity, a most valuable contribution. She has transformed horror into the service of humanity - true art. This book would be on my required reading list for graduate students and therapists alike. What a victory she has won!
Dennis N. Hinkle, Ph.D., Clinical Psychologist

When I found this book, I was first of all amazed that this author would be able to write her experience in the fullness she could, to reach inside and be able to describe what torture and pain "felt" like. ... Teresa helped me find within myself a new pathway of healing. Her abilities of expression in writing, as well as her description of the torture and what it did to her, were frightening, yet she caused me to go on, instead of turn inside.  A must read for not only those of rape, violence, and torture, but as well, for clinicians who practice Psychology in helping survivors heal. Debbie Spicer, R.N.

Teresa completely captured the essence of how a rape victim suffers. I have a much better understanding and deeper empathy for my clients who have experienced rape and who are suffering from PTSD.
